About this solar and battery referral service
Warragul Solar is an enquiry and referral website run by Yes Right Pty Ltd. See what happens to your solar or battery enquiry and who quotes and installs.
Warragul Solar is an enquiry and referral website operated by Yes Right Pty Ltd, ABN 91 664 546 061. It takes solar panel, battery and inverter enquiries from homes and farms around Warragul and the rest of Baw Baw Shire and passes each one to an independent local provider. That provider assesses the job, writes its own quote and, if you accept it, does the installation or repair.
This website is not a solar retailer, an electrical contractor or an installer. It does not hold an electrical licence or Solar Accreditation Australia accreditation, it does not employ installers, and it does not have a showroom or depot in Warragul. Photos on this site show the kind of work discussed, not jobs completed through it.
What happens after you send an enquiry?
- You fill in the enquiry form with your suburb, contact details and a short description of the system or fault.
- Your details may be shared with one relevant independent provider so it can respond to that enquiry.
- The provider contacts you, asks any questions it needs answered (roof photos, power bills, inverter model, switchboard photos) and may book a site visit.
- If the provider offers a quote, the price, scope, timing, payment terms and warranty are set by that provider. You decide whether to accept.
Sending the form does not book a visit or lock you into anything. Response times and availability are not guaranteed, and a provider can decline a job. The provider that receives your enquiry may pay Yes Right Pty Ltd a referral fee. That fee is not added to your quote as a separate line by this website.
What is the provider responsible for?
Everything to do with the actual work sits with the provider you engage: the system design, the products, the network pre-approval from the distributor, the rebate paperwork, the installation, the electrical safety certificate, and any workmanship warranty. If something goes wrong with the work, your contract is with the provider, so raise it with them first.
Ask for the quote in writing. It should name the panel, inverter and battery brands and models, the system size, any switchboard or meter work, what rebates or discounts have been applied and when, and how changes on the day will be agreed and priced.
How do I check a provider’s licence and accreditation in Victoria?
Solar and battery work in Victoria involves two separate checks, and it is worth doing both before you sign.
| What to check | Who keeps the record | Where to look |
|---|---|---|
| The electrician holds a Victorian electrical licence | Energy Safe Victoria | Licensed Electrical Worker Search |
| The business is a Registered Electrical Contractor | Energy Safe Victoria | Registered Electrical Contractor Register, on the same Energy Safe page |
| The installer and designer are accredited for solar or batteries | Solar Accreditation Australia | Check Installer Accreditation Status |
| The retailer has signed up to the consumer code | New Energy Tech Consumer Code | Find an Approved Seller |
| The retailer can offer the state solar rebate | Solar Victoria | Solar panel rebate and authorised retailer list |
Solar Accreditation Australia accredits individual people, not companies, so ask for the name or accreditation number of the person who will be on your roof. Energy Safe Victoria says that a solar or battery system is prescribed electrical work, which means an independent licensed inspector must check it, and you should receive a Certificate of Electrical Safety. Its guide to these certificates explains what to expect.

Questions and your details
Our privacy notice explains what is collected when you send an enquiry, who receives it and how to ask for it to be deleted. For a question about an enquiry you already sent, reply to any message you received about it.
Next step: describe your solar or battery job
Write down your suburb, whether you have solar already (and roughly how old it is), your roof type, and what you want: new panels, a battery, a replacement inverter or a fault looked at. Then start a solar or battery enquiry and a provider can take it from there.
